Overview

HermesAG is a brand of mobility solutions wholly created and owned by Newlift Holdings.

In 2001, Newlift Holdings was incorporated with an aim to further open up Singapore's elevator market. As such, members of our operations, engineering and key management began R & D efforts to create an open control system that would benefit the elevator industry, especially in Singapore.

Finally, in 2007, HermesAG was born. In ancient Greek mythology, Hermes is the God of transportation. Many Greeks would sacrifice to Hermes before any trip in hope of a safe and easy journey. Similarly, we aspire to provide everyone good opportunities to move about safely, efficiently, and comfortably.

At the same time, the logo of HermesAG is built around a circle with a white and orange half. Basing on the Eastern concept of "yin and yang", HermesAG aims to reconcile the seemingly polar opposites of corporate and social forces and turn them into a force for change.

The first HermesAG elevator was installed in Curtin University, Singapore campus. To date, we have advised, designed and supplied mobility solutions to over 80 locations in Singapore, in both residential and commercial settings.
